1. Who We Are
Scroll Show is a macOS desktop app for TikTok slideshow research. It runs on your Mac, and it keeps your research library in our cloud behind your login. This policy explains what we hold and what we do with it.

2. Information We Collect
The data we hold is small and specific:
- Google profile basics from sign-in: your name, email, and avatar
- License and purchase records, including Stripe identifiers and the amount paid
- The contents of your research library: the public TikTok accounts, posts, and metrics the app collects for you
- Feedback and messages you send us
We do not collect card numbers. Payments run through Stripe, and card details never reach us.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use what we collect to:
- Sign you in and unlock the app on your Mac
- Attach your license to your Google account and honor it
- Store and sync your research library so it is there when you sign in
- Handle purchases, and process any refund through Stripe
- Answer your messages and improve the app based on your feedback
4. Where Your Research Lives
Your research library is stored in two places: in our cloud behind your login, so it follows your account, and as files on your own machine, where the app writes the downloads it collects.
The app drives its own dedicated Chrome on your Mac to read public TikTok pages. The library is built from public account and post data, not from private information about you.
5. Google Sign-In
You sign in with Google. We receive the basic profile that Google shares: your name, email, and avatar. We use it to identify your account and tie your license to it. We do not post anything to your Google account or read anything beyond that basic profile.
6. Payments
Payments run entirely through Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We keep the purchase record Stripe returns, such as the transaction identifiers and the amount, so we can honor your license and handle refunds. A refund revokes the license automatically.
7. Website Analytics
On this website we use DataFast, a privacy-focused, first-party analytics tool, to measure how the site is doing. It helps us understand traffic and what pages people read. It is used for the marketing site, not for tracking you inside the app.
8. What We Do Not Do
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your research library for advertising, and we do not share it with third parties beyond the services needed to run Scroll Show.
9. Third-Party Services
We rely on a few services to run Scroll Show:
- Google for sign-in
- Stripe for payments, so we never store card details
- DataFast for website analytics
- Cloud infrastructure that stores your account and research library
You run the app through an AI agent you already have, such as Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Codex, or Cursor. Those run under your own accounts and billing with Anthropic, OpenAI, or Cursor, and their handling of data is governed by their own policies, not ours.
10. Data Retention and Deletion
We keep your account, license, and research library for as long as you use Scroll Show. To delete everything, email us at yassr@scroll.show and we will delete your account and library. Files already saved to your own machine stay with you, and you can remove those yourself.
11. Your Rights
You can:
- Ask for a copy of the data we hold about you
- Ask us to delete your account and research library
- Ask any question about how your data is handled
